Biosketch

María Gómez-Eguilaz, graduated in Medicine at the University of Navarra. She did her specialty in Neurology and after that she obtained her Doctorate at the University of Zaragoza. Since 2013 she joined to the Neurology Service at Hospital San Pedro, where she is a Consultant. Her major research interest is focused on epilepsy and the role of the probiotics in this disease. She has been the PI or Co-Investigator of several research projects related to neurological disorders. She is member of different national and international scientific societies.
